This belt is designed to supply systems such as transmitters, lights, heating etc. during active missions to provide complete self-sufficiency in terms of power.
This extra-flat belt with a weight of around 400 to 500 grams is equipped with capacitance type batteries with a capacity of 12 V regulated 7 Amps (ref. 1260)
The batteries built into the extra flat belt are charged either by a flexible solar panel (optional) or using a mains supply charger (optional).
The photo shows a trouser belt supplying a 12 volt - 24 Watt bulb for about two and a half hours. After this period all that is required is to recharge the belt.
Other, higher, voltages can be achieved e.g. regulated 12.6V output, 15 volts regulated, 20 volts regulated, etc. – please contact us
As regards capacities we can supply from 10 amps to 30 amps - all built into an extra-flat belt.
The battery belt has been tested under extreme conditions –25°C to +65°C.
We can also supply an identical power belt which is fully waterproof on immersion for underwater interventions (frogmen etc.).
