Road safety Lighting - Bus shelters

The solar powered bus shelter lighting is made up of a solar power module, a strip of white LED lights, a storage battery and a control and management device.

The extra-flat solar panel module is positioned on the bus-shelter roof, away from the road to be as discrete as possible.

The light strip located inside the bus shelter is activated by a programmable timer and produces a white directional light at a power of around 48 Watts for about 3 hours (or more according to demand). Thus anyone inside the bus shelter can read a newspaper using the lighting and also be seen, which is reassuring in locations with no lighting.
