The system takes the form of a post on which are positioned, in a vertical arrangement, solar power modules used to charge batteries designed to power the lighting system. Lighting is provided by very high luminosity white LEDs. Two lighting versions are available: directional and omni-directional versions.

The specific feature of this system is the vertical arrangement of the solar power modules, which capture light throughout the entire day.
