Designed as beacons for docking of ferries, this device is made up of several white alignment diode lights of very high luminosity.

Each 120 mm diameter light is made of reinforced epoxy resin providing water tightness and also impact resistance. It includes forty or so LEDs with a spread of 30° and a range of over 2 miles

In the event of main supply failure the system is protected and backed up by a stationary battery. The device therefore has an autonomous operating life of 3 days with no mains supply.
This system can also be made to be powered completely by solar energy.
