Road safety Illuminated Police sign - Type B1 'Contre sens' ('one-way traffic')

This solar powered device is designed to alert drivers who enter a one-way traffic system that they are committing an offence.

The Police type B1 sign is equipped with electroluminescent diodes which reproduce the prohibited direction. At the rear of the sign is the solar power module. On the top of the sign is the radar for detecting the vehicle travelling in the wrong detection with a range of about 90 metres.

As soon as the radar detects a vehicle travelling in the wrong direction, it immediately issues the command for the B1 sign to be illuminated and flash in order to warn the driver travelling in the wrong direction.

This device may be supplemented by a PMV type information panel which is triggered once the vehicle committing the offence is detected. This sign is therefore intended to warn rod users that a vehicle is travelling in the wrong direction.
