- BUTEO -
BUTEO, an electrical hybrid of an aeroplane and a helicopter is completely silent at a height of 50 metres. Its 120 cm span and 1 kg weight allow it to travel at a speed of 40 km/hr. There is also a 200 cm span version which can carry loads of 1 kg with an operational time of 30 minutes.
This drone is equipped with an anti-obstacle Doppler mini radar system and a 10g diurnal vision camera.
The BUTEO is used for mine or radioactivity detection missions, for electromagnetic jamming, for spreading liquid epoxy resin on tank turrets and gun sight optics (with explosive charge etc.).
- LIBELLULE -
This solar-powered drone has been designed to travel at high altitudes. Using the latest technology developed in our R&D department, extremes of -60°C, high winds, ice formation, lack of lift. It can put down on any terrain even in winds with gusts of 35 knots. The batteries are charged by solar cells during the day and by vibration at night (kinetic vibration movement).
- DER -
We have developed a stealth electric drone which can be broken down into 3 parts. It can be carried in its solar-panelled ultra-light carbon fibre back-back equipped with a solar panel, a liquid crystal screen and a receiver aerial.
The DER is assembled in less than 5 minutes. It has an on-board colour camera which through its transmitter sends real time images to the ground, displayed by the operator on the back-pack liquid crystal screen. The energy required is provided by a battery charged by solar energy.
The DER has been designed to carry out reconnaissance missions, and is a "scout" aircraft. Using the latest technologies developed by our R&D department, the fuselage of the DER is completely undetectable by radar echoes, laser and infra-red.
The DER may be used as a 'suicide' drone, providing a thermal signature when it crashes into a tank using remote control. For example, in the desert, where high temperatures do not allow heat sources to be readily distinguished from a tank, a crashed DER equipped with a JP5 petrol tank is used to start a fire causing significant heat, allowing infrared missiles to lock onto the heat signature from the tank.
