Operating principles

When a vehicle starts to drift because of distraction, fatigue etc, crossing a road marking line, the SADL will immediately activate an audible alarm in the driver compartment of the vehicle.
Thus, when the vehicle is in a carriageway lane and the driver has not operated the direction indicators to change lane, if they start to drift (to the left or right) the sensors will automatically detect the contrast between the road surface and continuous or intermittent white lines of the road markings. One feature of the SADL is that it can operate in pouring rain or in bright sunlight, both day and night.
